Hi everyone. This blog is created by ”Network for Iran’s People’s Movement”, (Nätverket för Irans Folkrörelse” in Swedish). The network consists of young Iranians living in Sweden who, out of dismay for the post-election events in Iran, decided to get together and support the Iranian people’s reform movement.
1 There were many strong indications that the election 2009 wasn’t fair and that people’s voices were stolen.
2 When Iranians protested against this they got beaten up, arrested and many have been killed. SMS, internet and phone lines have been down and reform politicians were arrested.
3 This is against the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the UN in 1948. Therefore we urge governments around the world to firmly protest against how the current regime of the Islamic republic of Iran treats its own citizens.
Some posts in this blog will be in Swedish, but most in English in order to spread the info farther and outside Sweden.
